AEW: Battle Of The Belts II announced

AEW recently revealed details regarding the announcement of the second Battle Of The Belts special.

It was announced via AEW’s Twitter on the 15th February that AEW will be holding the second instalment of Battle Of The Belts on Friday 15th April 2022 at the Culwell Center in Dallas Texas.

Is the location a coincidence as there is also another major wrestling event taking place in Dallas,Texas in April. This being WrestleMania 38. Whether this be a coincidence or planned AEW seem to be doing a 2 for 1 special where the audience will be in attendance for AEW Rampage as well as the Battle Of The Belts tapings.

Battle Of The Belts is a special event on AEW that previously got shown on a Saturday under the title Saturday Night Fight Night. Every match on this card had a title up for grabs with the TNT Title previously headlining where Sammy Guevara took on Dustin Rhodes to determine the Interim TNT Champion. Also, we saw Riho challenge AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, while Ricky Starks defended the FTW Championship against Matt Sydal.

Over the coming weeks we are bound to find out who will feature on the Battle Of The Belts 2 card and what titles will be defended on the special.
