AEW announce Battle Of The Belts III

It was revealed that AEW will be bringing back one of its popular specials in the coming months, this being none other than Battle Of The Belts. 

Battle Of The Belts is a special on AEW television that sees a one-hour event that only consists of title matches across the card.

This year it will be the third instalment of the Battle Of The Belts special and will take place around August time in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The date confirmed for Battle Of The Belts is August 6th, and the August 5th edition of Rampage will also take place in Grand Rapids. In the past, Battle Of The Belts has taken place on Saturdays, so it only makes sense for this edition to transpire on another Saturday Night Fight Night. 

Previously, Battle Of The Belts has provided us with some great title matches, including the recent battle at Battle Of The Belts II between AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa and Nyla Rose. Other matches from the events include the ROH World Championship classic between champion Jonathan Gresham and challenger Dalton Castle. 

It is unknown at this moment in time who will be defending and challenging for championships at this event, but the next few months will proceed to shape the card.
