Adidas launch new 'lightning fast' boot Man City's Julian Alvarez will wear in Champions League final

Adidas have launched an eye-catching new boot to be worn by Manchester City's Julián Álvarez in the Champions League final on Saturday.City will face off with Inter Milan in European football's showpiece event this Saturday in Istanbul and Adidas are honouring the event with the launch of a new boot. The Argentinian World Cup Winner has had a strong start to life at City netting 17 times in all competitions and will be gearing up for Saturday's showdown with the Italian giants.

The X Crazylight lightning fast boot is said to be "changing" the tempo and introducing a new "dimension" of speed with the latest in its X football footwear range. The boot's emphasis on pace and agility makes it a forward's dream as they can rely on the stability of the boot to bamboozle even the most eagle-eye of defenders.

The X Crazylight+ further now includes the updated speed-frame outsole which is a replacement of the previous carbon plate with a new Aeroplate insert. Adidas says this supports "dynamic movement" while also aiding traction during times of enhanced acceleration. Details have been added that ensures the boot is lightweight while still providing enough support and stability for players to run at high speeds while changing direction rapidly and dodging defenders.
