Adam Thomas supported by brother Ryan with strong message as he achieves huge feat

Adam and Ryan Thomas are not shy in showing each other public support, whether that be about their careers or personal lives. The brothers have been proving that once again with Ryan quick to praise his younger sibling as he acheived a big personal feat.

Fans of Waterloo Road star Adam may know that he has open and honest about his struggles with arthritis since his diagnosis back in 2023.

Adam, who is known for playing Donte Charles in the school-based BBC drama, confirmed he'd been given the diagnosis after it was revealed he'd be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing's 2023 series before sharing how he'd been in 'pain every day' for several months beforehand.

He told at the time how he'd been told he had rheumatoid arthritis. But Manchester-born Adam later told how his initial diagnosis has been changed, saying in January on Loose Women that he's got Psoriatic arthritis.

Adam has since been documenting his efforts to try and combat his debilitating pain and back in December, the former Emmerdale star revealed he was looking at a more natural route after more than a year of trying different medications.

But Ryan couldn't have been happier for his brother as he was sent a big update. It appears Adam had got out in the snowy weather to go on a hike as part of running club, RunMCR. Alongside a picture of Adam seemingly celebrating his efforts, Ryan wrote on his Instagram Story: "Never thought I would see my bro climbing mountains. So proud of you @adamthomas21." He then strongly added: "F*** arthritis!"

And the pride was recipricated when Ryan was seen getting back onto the ice during the opening epsiode of the new series of Dancing on Ice. The former soap star was invited back for a brief performance as the 2025 series
