Moving tributes have been paid to a man killed in a suspected hit-and-run. Jerin Gnanasekaran, 33, suffered fatal injuries in the crash in Longsight on Monday night (September 2) and he died later in hospital.

Parishoner Diana said: "Jerin was the kindest of souls. He was hardworking, always looking out for the people in his community, was a great and generous baker in his free time, never wore a jacket and took great care of his wife. He will be sorely missed by all."
