Aberdeen vs Helsinki LIVE score and goal updates from Europa Conference League clash at Pittodrie

It was a tough one to take for Aberdeen on opening day but there's plenty of reason to optimistic as HJK Helsinki come to town tonight.

The Dons went down 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt but their battling performance against one of the tournament favourites acted as the catalyst for a Pittodrie revival.

Since then they've won three on the spin - twice against Ross County and then against Rangers at Ibrox - and go into tonight's clash in flying form.

Finnish side Helsinki are no mugs though and will be confident of coming to the north east and causing a stir.

They have a point to prove after their opening day defeat to PAOK and travel with a six-point lead at the top of the Finnish top flight under their belts. Barry Robson though will back his team to get the job done as European group stage football returns to Pittodrie.

Stick with us for all the updates as the Dons look for a win to ignite their Conference League campaign.

This week, the officiating team all hail from Poland.

The man in the middle will be Daniel Stefanski. He's refereed various European ties before, including Celtic's 3-2 win over Real Betis in 2021 and Israel's 2-1 win over Scotland back in 2018, which saw John Souttar sent off and Kieran Tierney turn into his own net.

He'll be joined by Dawid Golis, Michael Obukowicz and Damien Sylwestrzak on the pitch, whilst Pawel Malec and Krzysztof Myrmus will be the men behind the screen
