Abbey Hey and Gorton house sales in July as a £300k home sold in 29 days

Property prices in the M18 postcode area which covers Abbey Hey and Gorton are the lowest of any area in Manchester, with latest figures showing an average sale price of £174,608.

But there has been a slight rise in house prices in the last 12 months, with prices edging up by 1.2 per cent over the year. One of the properties in this month's list was sold after it was on the market for just 22 days. Another home was sold for £30,000 more than the initial asking price.
