Aaron Ramsey and Kieffer Moore among the Wales stars who made transfer deadline day moves

It was a busy transfer deadline day for members of the Wales National Team yesterday as several members of Robert Page's squad made last minute moves.

With Wales potentially facing two vitally important World Cup playoff ties at the Cardiff City Stadium next month, some of Page's men may have changed clubs in order to gain vital minutes in the run up to the crucial fixtures.

No fewer than four of the regular Wales squad changed clubs on deadline day, and below are the four players in question.

Perhaps the most surprising move in world football yesterday was Wales playmaker Aaron Ramsey's move from Juventus to Rangers which very few neutral observers saw coming.

The former Cardiff City and Arsenal man has joined the Ibrox club until the end of the season.

Ramsey won his first cap for his country back in 2008 and has won 71 caps, scoring 20 goals.

Wales' first choice number nine Moore has joined Cardiff City's Championship rivals Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee thought to be worth up to £5m.

Moore has been largely below par for the Bluebirds this campaign but he will be hoping to run into a bit of form ahead of the World Cup playoffs at the end of March.

Moore made his debut for Wales under Ryan Giggs in 2019 and has since become a formidable centre forward at international level.

Liverpool full back Neco Williams, from Cefn Mawr near Wrexham, has joined Championship leaders Fulham on loan.

The youngster joins fellow Wales international, Corwen's Harry Wilson at Craven Cottage and the pair will be hoping to forge the same understanding at the London club as they enjoy when they combine down the flanks for Wales.
