Aaron Ramsdale perfectly summed up the togetherness in the Arsenal squad right now in a special moment with Ethan Nwaneri.

Their first defeat posed the question as to how the relatively youthful side would respond to adversity.

But on Sunday, they answered that dilemma emphatically by brushing aside Thomas Frank’s notoriously tough Brentford side and claiming an impressive 3-0 away victory.

It was a dominant performance with William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus’ first-half goals effectively putting the game beyond Brentford, before a Fabio Vieira wonder strike provided the icing on the cake.

But besides the team’s mouthwatering display, the record-breaking debut of young Ethan Nwaneri will maybe have provided Gunners fans with the most satisfaction of all.

The 15-year-old, who was born in March 2007, made history as the youngest person to ever compete in a Premier League match when he was subbed on in the 91st minute.

He took the record from Harvey Elliott, who has 16 years and 30 days old when he first appeared for Fulham in 2019.

Nwaneri comfortably beat the record held by Elliott given the Englishman was just 15 years and 181 days old.

It was brilliant to see Nwaneri in action at the highest-level English football has to offer.
