A4232 in Cardiff re-opens in both directions following grass fire
A main road in Cardiff has re-opened after being closed in both directions due to a grass fire. The A4232 Southern Way was shut for around an hour on Monday evening (August 29) having been closed at 5.30pm after the fire broke out.
The road was shut for just over half a mile between Lamby Way and the A4161 and re-opened at around 6.30pm. Traffic monitoring system Inrix says: "A4232 Southern Way in both directions re-opened, earlier a grass fire from Lamby Way to A4161. Reopened around 18:30."
