A car was torched in Bury and a man was seen running away

Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an arson attack in Bury.

It comes after a car was torched on on the outskirts of the town centre. Flames from the blaze, which completely destroyed the car, also spread to the door of a nearby building, causing minor damage. No-one was injured.

Following the fire, which took place on Back Heywood Street just before midnight on September 13, a man was seen running towards Spring Street.

Now police have released images of a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigation. They have also appealed for CCTV or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the arson attack.
