98 QUESTIONS #98 WITH CONNOR BEDARD

It's NHL Draft Day, ya'll! 

The Draft is one of the most exciting days on the hockey calendar every year, but the 2023 class specifically is one of the most highly-anticipated of all time. 

It feels like the term 'generational' might be thrown around a little bit too much these days, but for the Chicago Blackhawk's anticipated first overall pick Connor Bedard, it's the only fitting term. His name has been mentioned in the same breath as Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, and Wayne Gretzky since his early teens, and now, it's finally time for him to get to try and live up to the hype that's been built around him. 

So, what do we know about this young phenom that hockey fans will presumabely spend the next couple of decades watching, loving, and getting to know?

Not a whole lot. Other than playing for the Regina Pats and growing up a Canucks fan, Bedard is a pretty ambiguous character. 

Fear not, though, because the BarDown crew had the chance to sit down with the infamous Bedzy, and asked him 98 questions...we even find out why he wears number 98!
