8 of Blackburn Rovers’ best ever academy graduates — Where are they now?

There can be no doubting the fact that Blackburn Rovers have been served incredibly well at first-team level in recent years, by the success of their academy.

A number of the individuals who have emerged as key figures in the Ewood Park club’s unexpected but largely impressive push for promotion from the Championship this season, came through the club’s academy.

However, those individuals who make up part of Tony Mowbray’s current Blackburn squad, are not the only ones who have enjoyed plenty of success in this particular part of Lancashire, having made the step up to senior football after coming through the academy with Rovers.

Indeed, Blackburn have now had at least one academy product in their matchday squad, for each of their last 587 matches, a run stretching back well over a decade.
