£50m Everton star 'almost a dead cert' to leave Goodison Park

Richarlison is a “dead cert” to leave Everton this summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Brazilian has constantly been linked with a move away from the Goodison Park outfit in recent seasons and Jones believes that this will be his final year at the club.

Richarlison has been an outstanding servant for the Toffees, scoring 47 goals in all competitions since he made the £50m switch from Watford in 2018.

However, not for the first time in recent years, he’s facing uncertainty surrounding his future on Merseyside.

In the summer of 2020, he was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona after saying he was open to leaving Everton, although they rejected an approach from the Spanish giants.

12 months later, with Real Madrid pushing to sign Kylian Mbappe, PSG were hoping to replace him with Richarlison, although Rafael Benitez clearly stated that Everton wanted to keep the attacker.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s head of transfers, Matt Judge, recently held talks with Richarlison’s representatives over a potential move to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils reportedly trying to force Cristiano Ronaldo out this summer despite his stunning hat-trick against Tottenham on Saturday.

Regardless, Jones reckons that it’s almost impossible that Richarlison is still an Everton player next season.

When asked about the Brazilian’s future, Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I think Richarlison is almost a dead cert to be gone next season.”
