3 things we clearly learnt about Reading FC after their 0-0 draw v Peterborough

It was another frustrating night for Reading as they just about managed to get over the line with a 0-0 draw against fellow relegation battlers Peterborough United yesterday evening.

It was the hosts that shaded the first half at the Weston Homes Stadium with Karl Hein making a smart stop to deny Jonson Clarke-Harris following a mistake from Michael Morrison in what was the best chance of the opening 45.

And things didn’t exactly get better for the visitors after the break, with John Swift failing to convert a golden opportunity during another half of Peterborough domination.

Considering the chances the home side had, they will be the more disappointed not to win all three points despite their opponents having the better side on paper with an ex-England international in their team and one of the best midfielders in the second tier in Swift.
