3 talking point as Rangers cruise to 2-0 win over Hibs but at a cost as Leon Balogun limps off

Alfredo Morelos was the match-clincher with his 16 th goal of the season but James Tavernier was the key to a crucial win for Rangers.

The Ibrox captain once again showed his quality from 12 yards when he smashed a fourth minute penalty.

And it was Tavernier’s delightful pass forward in 57 minutes that set up Morelos who thumped a right foot shot over Hibs keeper Matt Macey.

Goldson’s consistency is remarkable as he has scarcely missed a match since he joined Rangers from Brighton in the summer of 2018.]

Incredibly, he has onlyfailed to feature in 11 of the 211 matches Rangers
