Sheffield United will be looking to book a place in the play-offs in the coming weeks in the Championship by maintaining their consistency at this level.

The Blades moved up to fifth in the second-tier standings last night after sealing a 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Bramall Lane.

By securing a top-six finish, Paul Heckingbottom’s side could go on to achieve an immediate return to the top-flight via a trip to Wembley Stadium in May.

The nature of the Blades’ transfer business in the upcoming window will largely depend on what division they find themselves in as they may be able to attract players from the top-flight if they secure promotion.

Darragh Lenihan

One of the individuals who should be on the Blades’ radar this summer is Darragh Lenihan whose current deal with Blackburn Rovers is set to expire following the culmination of the current campaign.
