3 series coming to Apple TV you need to add to your watch-list now
2024 is nearly coming to a close, meaning it's time to look forward to a New Year. There's plenty already happening in 2025, including numerous exciting TV and film releases, so it's time to get your must-see list stacked up and ready.
Details of a number of series due to be released on Apple TV in 2025 have already been released by the streaming giant. Two new titles, Prime Target and Krank Berlin, are due to land in the coming months, and the second season of hit series Severance is also on the way, with a release date set for January.
Here's everything you need to know...
When: January 17 (season two)
Created by Dan Erickson and executively produced by Ben Stiller, a second series of science fiction thriller Severance is due to land on Apple TV on 17 January.
The official synopsis for the next instalment reads: "Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the centre of an unravelling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself."
The first series of the American series is currently available to stream on Apple TV.
When: January 22
A brand new series, Prime Target, is due to be released on Apple TV in late January. The show focuses on a young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks (Leo Woodall), who is on the 'verge of a major breakthrough'.
His success with finding a pattern in prime numbers is met with difficulty however, as an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it's even started. This leads Edward to meeting Taylah Sanders
