3 out-of contract players Blackpool FC should target this summer to enhance their squad

In what has been a strong return to the Championship, Blackpool will be hoping for yet another campaign of progression during the 2022/23 season. 

The Seasiders seamlessly adapted to life back in the second-tier, and with a game left to play, finishing inside the top half remains a possibility.

Callum O’Dowda 

Bristol City winger Callum O’Dowda sees his contract expire at Ashton Gate next month, however, the club possess the option to extend his stay for another year.

Despite the Robins possessing the option to extend his deal for another 12 months,

Bristol Live has reported that the club do not intend to trigger that extension as things stand.

The report also states that five Championship clubs are monitoring his situation, although, it is unknown which clubs they are.

The winger possesses excellent dribbling ability and has proven to be productive in the final third, and could certainly provide the service that Gary Madine and Jake Beesley could thrive off.

Critchley is a manager who can revitalise a player’s career, by providing them the necessary Championship experience and placing them in an exciting environment.
