Oladapo Afolayan has emerged as one of League One’s brightest stars this season, with the 24-year-old carrying real attacking threat from the left wing. 

Afolayan has netted 12 times in the league so far this season, adding a further six assists in his 42 third tier outings.

His evident ability, and continued influence in the final third for the Trotters has gained him Championship admirers, with league leaders first emerging as an interested party last month.

Cardiff City are the latest second-tier outfit to express an interest in Afolayan, as per a report from The Bolton News, with it remaining to be seen what the immediate future holds.

Dion Pereira 

Luton Town’s Dion Pereira is someone who could attract a lot of League One interest this summer, with the 23-year-old currently impressing on loan at Bradford City.

The exciting left-footed winger has excellent technical ability, and has earned a lot of admiration from Bantams fans during his short time with the club thus far.

Luton could look to integrate him into the squad next season, however, it may be deemed best if he embarks on a loan spell at the top end of League One, something that Bolton should then look to benefit from.

Perhaps on the more ambitious side of things, Mallik Wilks could be someone that the Trotters target this summer.
