22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford left 'distraught' following 'development'

Sue and Noel Radford, parents to ‘Britain’s biggest family’ faced a housing rollercoaster ahead of their latest series returning to our TV screens. 22 Kids and Counting is back on Channel 5 this Sunday, July 20.

In the latest series, Sue 49, and her husband Noel, 53, plan to move into their dream home. In the trailer for the new show, the Lancashire-based couple visit the new “stunning” property with Sue saying: “You know, I can really see us living here.” In the short clip, an excited Sue tells the cameras: "It's a different way of living," as Noel adds: "There are fields around us, a bit of our own garden."

But as their dream house seems within grasp, it appears to come crumbling down when Noel receives a phone call revealing the sellers have been in touch and there's been a "development," with Sue left distraught as their chain collapses. Yet the show has some highs to celebrate too, the Mirror reports.

A synopsis for the new series reads: "Excitement is boiling in Morecambe as Noel and Sue prepare to move to their dream home, and Casper lands a prestigious Premier League trial." It continues: "Noel and Sue have long dreamt of one of their 22 kids becoming a superstar so when 11 year old Casper has his heart set on playing football for Liverpool, Noel tries to make this big dream a reality by arranging a trial with Premier League scouts.
