2026 Winter Olympics will be broadcast on Suspilne Sport, Pershy Kanal and local channels of Suspilne

The 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy) will be broadcast on the platforms of the Public Broadcaster Suspilne Sport, First Channel, and local channels of Suspilne.

"This week the long-awaited winter event of the quadrennium starts — the XXV Winter Olympic Games – 2026, which will officially begin with the opening ceremony on Friday, February 6. Exclusive broadcast of the event will be provided by Suspilne platforms: First Channel of Suspilne, Suspilne Sport platforms, as well as local channels of Suspilne," the broadcaster’s statement reads.

It is noted that on these platforms Suspilne will accompany the competitions daily with a full studio cycle — from morning announcements to summaries of the competition day.

In particular, the Olympic Studio will provide viewers with operational news, live reports from correspondents from five clusters in Italy where the starts will take place, competition results, as well as expert commentary and key moments of the competition day.

"Suspilne Sport is the official broadcaster of the Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in Ukraine, which will provide viewers with live broadcasts of competitions, in particular with priority on performances of Ukrainian athletes, operational news, exclusive comments from competition participants and analytics from the scene," the statement reads.

The competition day of Olympiad-2026 on Suspilne will begin with the morning Olympic Studio, which will air 30 minutes before the start of competitions; on weekdays it will last 30 minutes, on weekends — longer. The approximate start time is 10:30, however depending on the schedule the studio may start earlier — at 10:00 or 9:30.
