2026 MLB awards tracker: Odds for MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year - ESPN

As the Los Angeles Dodgers' status as the World Series favorite continues to grow, so too does Shohei Ohtani's as the National League MVP favorite. The phenom extended his odds lead for the NL's highest individual honor, going from -140 to an astounding -220 in the span of a week.

The American League MVP competition, on the other hand, is becoming more wide open, with leaders Aaron Judge (+185 to +200) and Bobby Witt Jr. (+450 to +500) seeing their odds lengthen week-over-week. Meanwhile, Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson (+800) and Houston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez (+900) entered the contenders conversation in a meaningful way after being 14-1 one week earlier.

For the Cy Young, Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal (+225) maintained his place atop the AL board, while Paul Skenes (+340) of the Pittsburgh Pirates reclaimed his spot atop the NL board after briefly losing it to Philadelphia Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez (+400).

The Rookie of the Year markets are proving to be much more mercurial. In the AL, Cleveland Guardians outfielder Chase DeLauter (+180) has taken the lead from Tigers shortstop Kevin McGonigle (+290). The NL is, perhaps, even more fascinating. Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin instantly became the +260 favorite upon making his MLB debut but has since fallen behind Cincinnati Reds third baseman Sal Stewart (+220) and New York Mets pitcher Nolan McLean (+400). Griffin stands at +425.
