The college basketball transfer portal is open for business.

The transfer portal opened for college basketball players on Monday, March 24, which was a day after the Round of 32 ended. As a result, there have been players on NCAA Tournament teams who have entered the portal. The window will remain open until April 22.

Donovan Dent chooses UCLA after transferring from New Mexico
Details: Dent, the 2024-25 Mountain West Conference Player of the Year, has decided to transfer to UCLA, he told Jon Rothstein. The guard has one year of eligibility remaining and averaged more than 20 points, along with 6.4 assists, per game this past season.

Kentucky lands former Tulane G Kam Williams
Details: The 6-foot-8 Williams told ESPN that he's transferring to Kentucky. Williams, who has three years of eligibility remaining, averaged 9.3 points and 1.3 steals per game as a freshman with the Green Wave. He cited Kentucky's ability to develop NBA players as a reason for choosing the Wildcats.
