2024 NFL Pro Bowl Championship: NAFA to organise qualifiers for schools
The Nigeria America Football Association (NAFA), says two schools from Lagos, New Hall international School, and Greensprings Schools, as well as two others from Abuja are preparing for the qualifiers to pick the sole ticket to represent the country at the 2024 NFL Flag Football Pro Bowl Championship, which will hold in Orlando, Florida, United States. The championship will take place in February next year.
According to the President of NAFA, Babajide Akeredolu, the teams from Lagos and Abuja will play their qualifier between November 7 and 8 on home and away format to pick the two teams that would compete in the grand finale of the qualifies between 27 and 28.
The NFL Flag Football Pro Bowl event is a combined male and female team championship, a 10-man team roaster with minimum of two female and eight male players.
“The winner from the Lagos qualifier will play the winner from Abuja to pick the sole ticket for the World championship in the United States,” he said.
The president stated that all arrangements have been put in place to ensure the best team represents Nigeria at the World championship.
