Yankees don't intend to flip Verdugo

In the aftermath of the Yankees' deal for Alex Verdugo, some in the industry have wondered if New York got him with the intention of flipping him to San Diego as part of a Juan Soto deal — and the Yankees and Padres have spoken more in the past 48 hours about a Soto trade. Orioles add Kimbrel, still looking for starters

With Felix Bautista expected to miss all of the 2024 season following Tommy John surgery, the Baltimore Orioles are on the verge of a deal to sign veteran closer Craig Kimbrel.
