2022 London NFL Games: Packers opponents revealed as schedule announced

The NFL has announced the teams that will be taking part in this year’s London games, a year that has been a long time in the making.

The NFL London landscape has been going through numerous changes over the years, but they are still as easily anticipated as any week within the NFL landscape.

Having been absent from the calendar during the 2020 season as a result of the pandemic, whilst they were back in 2021 with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins squaring off as well as the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets, this year feels like things well and truly are back to normal.

There will be a game back at Wembley when the Jaguars return to their home away from home and, whilst the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to host two games, as not only will we see the New Orleans Saints, but also the much-anticipated debut of the Green Bay Packers, the final team to play a game in London.

We already know who the home teams are going to be, but with the NFL having just announced the away teams, we now know what the full lineup of games will be and we are sure in for some exciting games:

The Denver Broncos

It’s a case of home sweet home for the Jaguars, as after not playing there in 2020 because of the pandemic, and playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2021 due to fixture congestion with the England football team, they get to go back to play under the famous Wembley arch.

Having squeaked out a thriller in last year’s game against the Miami Dolphins thanks to a last-minute field-goal, hopefully things will be a lot more straight-forward for them this time around as they take on the Denver Broncos, who will be led by newly acquired quarterback and former Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson.

Throwback to Matthew
