0.94 goals per 90: The Fulham player who is likely to attract transfer interest this summer

There is no doubt that Fulham were the dominant side in the Sky Bet Championship this season.

Finishing the campaign as the Champions, the Cottagers scored an impressive 106 goals – 32 more than second-placed AFC Bournemouth.

Marco Silva’s side will now be looking forward to next season in the Premier League and planning to strengthen their squad during the summer, but first and foremost, they must keep hold of their star player – Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The chances the Serbian got is further evidenced by the 3.94 shots he took per 90.

47.8% of these shots were on target, which, perhaps, helped Mitrovic overperform his expected goals and actually score 0.94 goals per 90 on average in the second tier this season.

Mitrovic’s fine form received plaudits from many across the season, and earned the 27-year-old a very impressive WhoScored rating of 7.72 for the campaign.

All things considered then,
