Heavy traffic is building on a stretch of the M61 this morning after a crash.
There was heavy traffic after a car left the carriageway on the M4 near Bridgend on Thursday, January 18. One lane was closed on the M4 westbound and eastbound carriageways between Junction 36 (Sarn) and Junction 37 (Pyle). Traffic Wales first reported the incident in a post to X (formerly Twitter) at 4.01pm.
A major route near Rhodda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil was partially blocked in both directions due to a crash on Thursday, January 18. There was heavy traffic on the A470 due to the incident between the A472 (AberCynon Roundabout) and A4060 (Abercanaid Roundabout), according to traffic monitoring service Inrix, which first reported the collision at 4.30pm.
