India To Host World Pickleball Championship For The First-Time Ever
Achieving a milestone for Indian sports, the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) will host the prestigious World Pickleball Championship (WPC) Series in India for the first time. Held at Mumbai from November 12th to 17th, the WPC 2024 will bring together the best pickleball talent from around the globe, following the highly successful Vietnam and Bali legs of the championship, where the Indian teams secured Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. The Russian, then world number two, was unceremoniously ejected from the 2023 French Open by qualifier Seyboth Wild in the first round. The tenacious Brazilian did not make it easy for Medvedev on Friday, setting the tone by breaking first to pull 1-3 ahead.
