Asian Games 2023 saw the Indian athletes live up to the hype with the country finding itself among the top 4 nations in the medal tally. Shooting, squash, sailing, cricket, kabaddi, hockey, equestrian and athletics were the disciplines where Indian athletes left their mark at the Asian Games 2023. India ended the continental event with a total of 107 medals (28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze). Among the gold medal winners at the Asian Games 2023, athletics and shooting were the dominant force.
