Real Madrid vs PSG - Live Stream As for PSG, they have the advantage thanks to a that fine solo goal from Kylian Mbappe in the first-leg, but the pressure is on the Parisians who have been looking to add the Champions League to their trophy cabinet in the last five years or so. It'll also be interesting to see how Leo Messi takes to the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time as a PSG player.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has been named in the squad for the Champions League last 16 second leg clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday despite nursing a sore left foot. The 23-year-old World Cup winner was kicked in the foot in training on Monday but had a "reassuring" medical check-up. The club said he would have a final examination on Tuesday. Mbappe would be a huge loss were he not to play as he scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory over 13-time European champions Real in the first leg in Paris last month.
Thanks to Kylian Mbappe, who found the target against Real Madrid's star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois within injury time in the first leg, Paris Saint Germain will be looking to win handsomely in second leg of the Round of 16 fixture set to be played at the Santiago Bernabeu on March 10. Madrid, on the other hand, will rely heavily on the likes of Karim Benzema to bail them out of the one-goal deficit and help the team move to the last-eight stage of the comeptiton.
"Kylian Mbappe received a blow to his left foot in training today. He had treatment this afternoon," Paris Saint-Germain said in a statement on Monday.
Barcelona moved up to third in La Liga on Sunday after coming from behind to beat Elche 2-1, with Memphis Depay scoring a late penalty to seal a hard-fought victory. Elche took a surprise lead at the Martinez Valero when Fidel capitalised on a Pedri error on the stroke of half-time but Barca came storming back thanks to two substitutes. Ferran Torres diverted in from close range on the hour before Depay scored an 84th-minute penalty after the striker had drawn Elche's Antonio Barragan into a handball. "It seemed we were going to lose a game we did not deserve to lose," said Barca coach Xavi Hernandez. "We deserved to win by more than one goal."
