Sri Lanka spinner Prabath Jayasuriya carved his name in history books of elite bowlers as he bagged his third consecutive haul of five wickets or more to put Pakistan under pressure on the second day of the first Test. Jayasuriya achieved the milestone on Sunday by taking five wickets in Pakistan's first innings at the Galle International Stadium. With this feat, the left-arm spinner became only the third bowler to claim three five-wicket hauls in the first three innings after his debut.

On the second day of the ongoing 1st Test against Sri Lanka, Babar completed 10,000 international runs and, in the process, he became the fastest Pakistan batter to achieve this particular milestone. Babar took just 228 innings to bring up 10,000 international runs, 20 fewer innings than the second-placed Javed Miandad.

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan replied to the Tweet with a hilarious comment. "Muje esay kyu dekh rahe hei sab? (Why is everyone looking at me like this?)" he wrote.

Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir announced his retirement from international cricket a couple of years back, citing shabby treatment from the management. While the Pakistan Cricket Board has seen a shift in management with the appointment of Ramiz Raja as chairman, Amir has stated that he won't be available for the national side until the 59-year-old is at the helm. Amir said that if Ramiz leaves PCB, he might think about making his comeback to the Pakistan side.

Pakistan are in Sri Lanka to play two Tests, in Galle and Colombo, respectively. In the video, Hassan could be seen in the video dancing in a jovial manner while Haris Rauf watches him with a smile on his face. Even former New Zealand cricketer Danny Morrison, who is part of the broadcasting team, couldn't resist from commenting on Hasan's quirky moves.

Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Second Test Might Be Moved To Galle Amid Economic Crisis: Report

Due to political protests around the country and especially in the capital Colombo the second Test between Sir Lanka and Pakistan might be moved to Galle. As per the ESPNcricinfo, fearing the logistical challenges that might arrive arise to the political protests in the capital, there is a possibility the second Test match might be moved to the Galle stadium. The first Test is also happening in Galle right now which also hosted the last three Test matches. Galle also saw a protest recently on July 9 which was on the second day of the test between Sri Lanka and Australia but the match wasn't affected because of it as the scale of the crowd wasn't as big as during the Colombo protests.

The first Test match between Sri Lanka vs Pakistan kicked off at the Galle International Stadium on Saturday. Sri Lanka skipper Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss and opted to bat first against the guests. Soon after the toss, the official Twitter handle of Pakistan Cricket Team shared a video of Babar Azam walking into the stadium in "baggy green". While walking down the stairs of the stadium to reach to the ground, Babar could also be seen wearing his sunglasses.
