Fallece el joven piloto Thannaphet Kusuwan
Esta siendo una semana para olvidar en el mundo de las dos ruedas. Después de que Jakub Guretzky y Jason Aguilar perdiesen la vida en los últimos dos días, hoy se ha confirmado el fallecimiento de Thannaphet Kusuwan tras un accidente sufrido en el circuito de Buriram. El joven piloto tailandés, que se encontraba realizando las pruebas para la Honda Thai Talent Cup, impactó con la Honda NSF 250 que pilotaba en ese momento en el trazado tailandés.

En esta ocasión, el dolor ha sacudido a la Northen Talent Cup tras conocer el fallecimiento de su vigente campeón, Jakud Gurecký, con solo 16 años. El piloto sufrió un accidente de minimoto mientras entrenaba en Ohvale, una pista de karts, ubicada en Eslovaquia. Fue trasladado de manera inmediata al hospital más cercano de la zona, pero, pese a los intentos del equipo médico por mantenerlo con vida, no pudo superar las heridas del trágico accidente.
Falcon’s EWC four revealed
Falcon Racing will build on its successful 2021 FIM Endurance World Championship season with its quick quartet for 2022. On the back of its best EWC season to date, when it scored points in all four races run, the French team has announced David Chevailier, Thed Eisen, Loïc Millett and Tanguy Zaepfel will race for it in the 2022 EWC.

Xavier Siméon is planning for a “beautiful” but ‘tough’ home round of the FIM Endurance World Championship at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in June. Belgian ace Siméon, who helped Yoshimura SERT Motul win the FIM EWC Team’s title in 2021 while also partnering Frenchmen Gregg Black and Sylvain Guintoli to the Drivers’ crown, was speaking during yesterday’s press conference to launch the 24H SPA EWC Motos, scheduled as round two of the EWC season from June 2-5.

Reviving the spirit of the famous 24 Heures de Liège, which last ran as a round of the EWC in 2001, the 24H SPA EWC Motos will be an endurance race like no other.
