Taniya Bhatia Slams London Hotel For Not Responding To Robbery Complaint

A day after putting up a detailed post on Twitter about how her bag was stolen from her room at a London hotel, Indian women's cricket team  player Taniya Bhatia has once again slammed the concerned hotel for not responding to her complaint. "I still haven't recd any response from the hotel management. This is quite disappointing. The items that were stolen from my room were both valuable and important to me. Has any action been taken since the theft? An update would be much appreciated," Taniya wrote on Twitter.

"I'll Just Stay In...": Charlie Dean After Being Run-Out By Deepti Sharma

England cricketer Charlotte Dean on Monday broke her silence on her controversial run-out in the match against India saying she will stay in the crease from now on. In the third and final ODI at the Lord's Cricket Ground, Deepti Sharma had run Dean out at the non-striker's end after the batter was backing up too far ahead when the ball was not even released out from the bowler's hand.

"Instead Of Intense Debates...": Kapil Dev Suggests A "Better Solution" After Deepti Sharma's Run-Out Of Charlie Dean

India women defeated England women in the third and final ODI at Lord's to clean sweep the series 3-0. It was the last international match for legendary pacer Jhulan Goswami but it was India's Deepti Sharma who hogged more limelight in the game. The all-rounder had run out England batter Charlie Dean at the non-striker's end during her bowling. The fall of Dean's wicket saw England being bundled out for 153 runs and India thus won the tight match by a margin of 16 runs.

"The Law Is Clear..." After Deepti Sharma Run-Out, MCC Clarifies Again

After Deepti Sharma's run-out of Charlie Dean to seal India's win against England in the third ODI at Lord's on Saturday sparked a heated debate over the 'spirit of cricket', the Marylebone Cricket Club -- the custodians of the laws of cricket - came out with a statement yet again clarifying their stance on the subject. The MCC had earlier this year moved the mode of dismissal from the 'unfair play' section of their laws to the 'run out' section, and the ICC is set to also adopt that change from October 1.
