David Warner brushed off scathing criticism from former teammate Mitchell Johnson over his selection for Australia's Test series against Pakistan, saying on Friday: "Everyone's entitled to their own opinions."
MELBOURNE : David Warner has shrugged off Mitchell Johnson's withering criticism of his selection in Australia's test squad as a "headline" for the home summer, saying his former team mate is entitled to his opinion.
On Saturday, the footballer named man of the tournament at the last European Championship learned his and Italy’s defence of their Euros title would be almost as tough as conceivable. On Sunday, his own reputation then took a further tumble. Once again, Gianluigi Donnarumma, the giant goalkeeper whose reach made him a penalty-stopping hero for his county two years ago, has been let down by his feet.
David Warner's inclusion in the Australia team for the Test series against Pakistan has become a subject of serious debate, with suggestions being made that the opening batter didn't deserve to be included in the team. Johnson's criticism of Warner hasn't been welcomed by many, with Australia batter Usman Khawaja calling the comments by the former Aussie star "harsh".
Usman Khawaja jumped to the defence of his opening partner David Warner on Monday after stinging criticism of the veteran batsman from Australian great Mitchell Johnson.

Atletico playmaker Antoine Griezmann this week said Felix lacked “consistency” or “got tired” of finding it, while midfielder Saul Niguez also said Felix had plenty to improve on. Simeone said Saturday he did not want to speak about the forward because he was not at the club, despite still being an Atletico player. “(The criticism) should be extra motivation against Atletico,” Xavi told reporters Saturday. “I see he is motivated and happy, he is being consistent, I am happy with his performance and how he has adapted to the group.” Barcelona loaned Atletico’s record 126 million euro ($137 million) signing in the summer and after an impressive start, he began to struggle. Felix scored his first goal in 13 matches against Porto on Tuesday as Barcelona secured qualification to the Champions League last 16. The victory helped quieten the negative noises around the club after a string of bad performances and Xavi hopes they can build on it against Atletico. “We have to find our game, the second half against Porto was very good ...
