BRUSSELS :Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne scored one goal and set up another as they profited from a strong first-half showing to beat Wales 2-1 in their Nations League A Group 4 clash at the King Baudouin Stadium on Thursday.
ZAGREB, Croatia: Croatia substitute Lovro Majer scored a late goal as they beat Denmark 2-1 on Thursday (Sep 22) to top UEFA Nations League A Group 1 with the winner coming two minutes after visiting captain Christian Eriksen's superb equaliser.

Goals from Borna Sosa and Lovro Majer helped Croatia beat Denmark 2-1 on Thursday night to go top of Group A1 in the Nations League. In a game that had three goals of the highest quality, Sosa broke the deadlock after 49 minutes to give Croatia the lead with his first international goal.
Kevin De Bruyne scored one and set up another but Belgium were forced to hold off the fast-finishing Wales in the second half of their Nations League clash in Brussels. Wales began the game well but after shaking off early lethargy Belgium dominated the final half-hour of the opening half following De Bruyne's measured left-footed volley from Michy Batshuayi's centre.
