ICC u-19 World Cup Final: 'The Cup is coming home', say Yashasvi Jaiswal and Priyam Garg
World Cup history can be summed up. India, the most successful team in Under-19 World Cup history, will once again aim to create history when the Yash Dhull-led side takes on England in the grand finale of the 2022 edition on Saturday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua. India had last won the u-19 World Cup title in 2018 when the Prithvi Shaw-led Indian team defeated Australia in the final by 8 wickets. Former Under 19 team captain Priyam Garg and batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who were part of the 2020 World Cup campaign, are confident that India will bring the cup back home again. The Priyam Garg-led team finished as runners-up in the 2020 edition. They lost to Bangladesh in the final.
