However, nothing of that sort was on display despite the home team captain jumping in the air and fist pumping to celebrate his 15th ton. Well, the catch was that Babar was still on 99 not out when he punched the air in delight after he completed running two runs. The hilarious incident was even acknowledged by the players on the field who were left in splits, something which even put a smile on Babar's face later.

After electing to bowl, Shaheen Afridi gave Pakistan a dream start against Australia in the ongoing second ODI at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. With Pakistan aiming to level the series after Australia won the first ODI, Shaheen dismissed Australia skipper Aaron Finch for a first-ball duck. Shaheen was probably trying to bowl a yorker but it turned out to be a full toss around middle and leg. He, however, still managed to get some movement on the ball as Finch completely missed his flick. As a result, the ball went on to hit Finch's front foot and umpire was quick to raise his finger.

Australia batter Steve Smith on Thursday set the record for the fastest to reach 8000 Test runs, getting there one innings quicker than Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara. Smith got to the milestone during Australia's second innings of the ongoing third Test against Pakistan in Lahore. Sangakkara took 152 innings to get to the landmark, while Smith got there in his 151st. In terms of matches, the Australian batter got there much quicker, taking 85 games in comparison to Sangakkara's 91.
