Pakistan international Shaheen Shah Afridi's wicket of Aaron Beard in the ongoing County Championship match against Sussex was a treat to watch. The fast bowler uprooted two stumps of Sussex batter Beard with an almost unplayable yorker, something which the bowler enjoyed to the core as he burst into his trademark celebration. The official handle of the County Championship posted the clip on Instagram that showcased how accurate the yorker was as it sent the stumps flying in the air. Pakistan international Shaheen Shah Afridi's purple patch with the ball continued in the ongoing County Championships as he aided Middlesex to get an early wicket yet again in their ongoing match vs Sussex at The 1st Central County Ground in Hove on Thursday. Afridi disturbed the woodwork of Sussex opener Tom Haines with a beautiful out-swinger for 17 runs. The ball, that seemed to have pitched just short of good-length, seamed away after pitching and knocked over the top of off-stump as the left-arm pacer burst into his trademark celebration.

The County Division 2 fixture between Sussex and Durham ended in a draw on Sunday at the County Ground, Hove. Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan were the standout performers for Sussex as the duo played knocks of 203 and 79, respectively in the first innings and this helped the side post 538 runs on the board. Rizwan then bowled two overs for Sussex in the second innings with the match heading for a draw.

After bagging four wickets on his Middlesex debut against Glamorgan, Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi continued to make headlines in his first County Championship season. During the ongoing Division Two match against Leicestershire at the Lord's, Shaheen added three more wickets to his tally in the morning session. In fact, he almost picked up a hattrick on Day 1 of his home debut. During the fifth over of Leicestershire's innings, Shaheen dismissed opener Hasan Azad and skipper Colin Ackermann off the first two deliveries.

In the first innings against Glamorgan, he castled Marnus Labuschagne to claim his first county wicket in style and then followed it up with another one on the very next ball. Though the bowler failed to clinch a hat-trick, he definitely made a statement in the first innings. He was not done though as he claimed another prized wicket in the second innings. However, the pace on the delivery found the rear end of Marnus' willow and the batter was played-on for eight runs.
