However, he also had to suffer a painful hit, as a misdirected throw from Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud hit him right on his backside. It all started with India captain Rohit jokingly taps Shubman Gill's jaw with his left hand while talking to the player in the dugout. Kohli, who was sitting adjacent to Rohit, quickly reminded him that his act was being recorded by the camera. However, he was beaten by a full delivery from Mehidy Hasan Miraz that went on to crash into his front pad. The umpire raised his finger but Kohli did not look convinced as he walked towards Shubman Gill for a discussion. After a short chat, Kohli decided not to review the decision and walked away much to the disappointment of the supporters.
