South Africa and India will both be testing their strength in depth when they meet in two white-ball series, starting with a Twenty20 international at Kingsmead in Durban on Sunday.
South Africa became the latest country to provide equal pay across genders after they announced all their cricketers would receive the same match fees for international matches according to the ICC. The Proteas join New Zealand and India as countries that have announced pay parity across the genders. This decision comes on the back of the landmark announcement from the ICC earlier this year that saw equal prize money for men's and women's teams at ICC events.

Cricket South Africa chief executive Pholetsi Moseki confirmed to AFP on Tuesday that no players contracted to the six SA20 franchises would travel to New Zealand. The SA20 will start on January 10 and finish on February 10, overlapping with the Tests which begin on February 4 and February 13.
Cricket South Africa's chief executive officer, Pholetsi Moseki, said their annual International Cricket Council disbursement for the next four years will go a long way to easing their recent financial losses.
The Proteas will head to New Zealand for a two-Test series early next year, Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed on Tuesday.
That could be the answer to South Africa's limited red-ball commitments between now and the end of the ICC's Future Tour Programme (FTP) in 2027.
