Este sábado, en tercera ronda, la española se retiró cuando perdía por 6-3 y 2-1 con quiebre abajo ante la rusa Veronika Kudermetova. Unas molestias en el gemelo derecho (ella creía incluso que se había roto, aunque su fisio piensa que el problema no es tan grave y está en el sóleo) por las que fue atendida tras el 5-2 en el primer set la hicieron abandonar cuando habían pasado una hora y ocho minutos de partido, pero lo cierto es que sus sensaciones, sobre todo anímicas, no habían sido buenas en este torneo ni en los anteriores, sobre todo desde Madrid. Está agobiada por la presión de un circuito femenino exigente y muy igualado, y por asuntos personales que la tienen preocupada fuera de la pista.
