Nitish Rana was left fuming at the umpires at one stage during Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL 2023 match against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday. The incident took place ahead of the last over of CSK's innings. Vaibhav Arora was about to bowl the last over with set batters Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja in the crease. However, due to their slow over rate, KKR received punishment. Under new rules, they became bound to keep a maximum of four fielders outside the circle instead of five. Visuals showed that Rana lashed out at the umpires and got involved in a heated argument with them.

Kolkata Knight Riders Predicted XI vs Chennai Super Kings, IPL 2023: Will Johnson Charles Replace Rahmanullah Gurbaz?

Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders face four-time winners Chennai Super Kings in an Indian Premier League match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday. While CSK will aim for a win to strengthen their hopes of sealing a play-off berth, KKR too will eye a victory and keep their outside chance alive. KKR will fancy their chances based on the presence of spinners, who have made an impact. How Varun Chakravarthy and leg-spinner Suyash Sharma bowl on Sunday could well decide the outcome of the match. Watch: Yuzvendra Chahal Crashes Into Teammates After 'Suitcase Taxi' Ride Courtesy Joe Root

Yuzvendra Chahal is an interesting character on the cricket field. While his leg-spin is difficult to negotiate, sometimes his sense of humour is also quite out of the box. Ahead of the IPL, one of Chahal's videos with Rajasthan Royals teammate Joe Root went viral where the duo could be seen dancing to a Punjabi song. Now, Chahal was at it again with Root being his perfect aide. During RR's recent team travel, Chahal could be seen riding Root's suitcase, who was more than happy to offer his services in helping Chahal.
