2022 NW200: Irwin smashes record on way to pole
Glenn Irwin set the fastest-ever lap around the current 8.9-mile NW200 circuit on Thursday morning to claim pole position for Saturday’s two Superbike races
2022 NW200: Supertwin pole for Cooper
Richard Cooper claimed pole position in Supertwins qualifying at the North West 200 on Thursday morning, the JMcC Roofing Kawasaki rider lapping a second quicker than Frenchman Pierre Yves Bian (VAS Engine Racing Paton) and half a second inside the existing lap record. Paul Jordan (Prez Racing Kawasaki) completed the front row.

Of Seeley’s all-time record of 24 wins around the ‘Triangle’ course, 12 have come in the middleweight class, which is hardly surprising given his pedigree as a former British Supersport champion.

Michael Dunlop and Richard Cooper topped the opening qualifying sessions for the Superstock and Supertwin classes respectively at the North West 200 on Tuesday afternoon.
2022 NW200: Brookes sets the early Superbike pace
Competitors were greeted with mixed conditions for the opening North West 200 qualifying sessions today with overnight rain leaving damp patches around the 8.9-mile circuit. However, the sun was shining and the track quickly improved and, after the Supersport bikes had completed their first session, it was Josh Brookes who claimed provisional pole for the Superbike class on the MCE Ducati.
