Manchester City could be without Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne for the FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool, with both limping out of the Champions League clash at Atletico Madrid.
Pep Guardiola said his team is in “big trouble” after injuries made Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne major doubts for Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final. The pair limped off with what appeared to be ankle injuries in the bad-tempered goalless draw with Atletico Madrid, which saw the Blues book their place in the Champions League semi-finals last night.
Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker both limped off in City’s hard-fought draw at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday. Fernandinho and Nathan Ake replaced the duo, as Pep Guardiola’s side just about coped with the hosts’ pressure to progress to the Champions League semi-final.
