Following a 45-run defeat in the third T20I of a five-match series against New Zealand, Pakistan have now gone seven games without a win in international cricket. Since the change in captaincy, following Babar Azam's decision to step down as skipper after the World Cup, Pakistan have lost six games under different captains. A never-before-seen incident took place during the second T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday. The incident occurred during the sixth over of the innings when Pakistan batter Fakhar Zaman was firing on all cylinders. Fakhar hit Ben Sears for a massive six over deep backward square-leg and the ball ended up on the road. However, a fan took the ball and ran away with it. In the video, a couple of fans were seen chasing the ball after Fakhar's monstrous hit. A fan eventually eventually picked up the ball and ran away with it.

New Zealand opener Finn Allen had gone berserk against Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi during the first T20I match at Eden Park, Auckland on Friday. After taking a wicket in his first over, Shaheen returned for his second with great energy but Allen through his sensational batting got better of the left-arm pacer. He trashed him for 24 runs in the third over of the New Zealand innings. It all started with a six over deep mid-wicket off a slower first ball. Allen then smashed three fours in a row before hitting a six over long-on. The final delivery was a dot ball but the damage was already done.
