Ten Hag, 52, will leave Ajax at the end of the season having restored their pride at the top table of European football in the Champions League and dominated domestically in his four years in charge. Premier League club Manchester United on Thursday announced the appointment of Erik ten Hag as its new full time manager. The Dutchman, who has been the manager at Ajax Amsterdam since 2017, will take over from interim manager Ralph Rangnick at the end of the season. His contract runs till June 2025. He has won the Dutch Eredivisie twice with Ajax and has also won the domestic Cup in Netherlands twice. He also guided a young Ajax team to the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-19 season.
