CSK All But Rule Out Signing Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul In IPL 2025 Auction. This Is The Reason

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanathan has opened up on the franchise's strategy heading into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction, scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. CSK decided to retain the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Matheesha Pathirana, and MS Dhoni ahead of the auction, leaving themselves with just one Right To Match card to use in the bidding war. In all likelihood, CSK will use the RTM option for either Devon Conway or Rachin Ravindra. With the likes of KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant entering this year's auction, Kasi admitted that CSK might not be able to compete with the other teams, as far as signing big Indian names.

"Not Even In Our Wildest Dreams": New Zealand Great On Historic Series Win vs India

Former New Zealand batter Ross Taylor said they didn't think of a 3-0 clean sweep over India in the Test series in their 'wildest dreams' as Tom Latham-led side completed a historic whitewash in Mumbai on Sunday. India lost their first home Test series since 2012 as New Zealand cruised to their first-ever series win over India. The visitors were on top in all departments across three matches of the series and kept Indian batters at bay on their home turf. Ajaz Patel (15) and Mitchell Santner (13) were among the wickets while Rachin Ravindra (256), Will Young (244) and Devon Conway (227) led the run-charts for the Kiwis to achieve the unimaginable.

Cut Down The Chatter: Rohit Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan Sent Strong Message By Umpire In 3rd Test vs NZ. Here's Why

Indian fielder Sarfaraz Khan was on Friday warned by the umpires in the presence of skipper Rohit Sharma for chirping even when the ball was in play, during New Zealand's first innings in the third and final Test of the 2024 series at the Wankhede Stadium. Umpire Richard Illingworth called up Sarfaraz and Rohit and the three had a long animated discussion before the 32nd over of the innings. The umpires were apparently unhappy as Sarfaraz, fielding close to the bat, was engaging in verbals even when the ball became alive.

Sarfaraz Khan Taunts New Zealand Batter After Dismissal During 3rd Test - Video Is Viral

Sarfaraz Khan gave a fiery send-off to Rachin Ravindra on Day 1 of the third Test match between India and New Zealand in Mumbai on Friday. Rachin has been a top performer for New Zealand with the bat and he was one of the big reasons behind the visitors winning both Tests in the series. During the first session of Day 1, Rachin was left bamboozled by a delivery from Washington Sundar that crashed into his stumps. Sarfaraz, who was fielding at the silly point position, celebrated wildly after the dismissal and even taunted Ravindra before the batter made his way back to the dressing room.
