24-time race winner Alastair Seeley claimed pole position for the two North West 200 Supersport races with an early time in Thursday afternoon’s second qualifying session putting the IFS Racing Yamaha rider almost half a second clear of Adam McLean (McAdoo Racing Kawasaki). Davey Todd took third on the Milenco by Padgetts Honda.

Competitors were greeted with mixed conditions for the opening North West 200 qualifying sessions today with overnight rain leaving damp patches around the 8.9-mile circuit. However, the sun was shining and the track quickly improved and, after the Supersport bikes had completed their first session, it was Josh Brookes who claimed provisional pole for the Superbike class on the MCE Ducati.
Davey Todd has been confirmed with Clive Padgett’s squad for the 2022 roads season and says the Batley set-up is exactly what he was looking for.
Todd has earned a full-time place in the Batley-based outfit alongside Cummins, who is recovering from a broken collarbone following a motocross training crash in Spain.
